We collect your email so we can send you the newsletter, and basic analytics so we know what's read. We don't sell your data. Unsubscribe in one click, anytime.

What we collect

Your email address, and basic delivery analytics (whether an issue was delivered and opened). We don't ask for your name, address, or anything else to subscribe.

How we use it

To send you the newsletter twice a week, and occasionally to ask what you'd like us to cover. We don't sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.

Website analytics

On the website we use privacy-respecting analytics — Google Analytics 4, and (if we ever run ads) the Meta pixel — purely to understand what gets read and how people find us. We do not use them to build advertising profiles, and we never sell or share your data.

These load only after you accept the cookie banner. Decline and nothing analytics-related runs. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (“Do Not Sell”) signal, we treat that as a decline automatically and never ask. You can change your mind anytime with “Do Not Sell / opt out” in the footer.

Who processes it

Email is delivered through Resend, our sending provider, which stores the subscriber list on our behalf. Website analytics, when you accept, are processed by Google (Analytics) and, if enabled, Meta.

Your choices

Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link — use it anytime and you're removed. On the website, decline the cookie banner or hit “Do Not Sell / opt out” in the footer to turn analytics off. You can also email us to be deleted entirely.

Your California choices (CCPA)

If you're a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you (your email and delivery analytics), to request its deletion, and to opt out — and we will never sell or share it for cross-context advertising. We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, just reply to any issue or write to the address below.
